Steve's Message
In my career with County government, I have dealt with change from several positions including that of a manager. Change is inevitable in all organizations, and must only be done for the right reasons. I have found that maintaining a high standard of ethics, weighing the affect those decisions will have on people, open communication with employees, and participation by employees ensures the least impact with regard to change if it is necessary. This is the management style I will bring to the Office of the Property Appraiser.
My position is to be responsive to the public, restore fair property valuation standards to all Brevard County residents and develop a comfortable employee work environment.The success of this will come from a knowledgeable and productive staff. I look forward to a cohesive and positive atmosphere that allows for a high level of productivity. This will be a positive step toward the Property Appraiser's Office becoming a place the public can trust and depend on.
